This afternoon I visited the gift shop at the lighthouse. I may have some of my gicleed, editioned and signed prints of my lighthouse paintings for sale in the gift shop. I'll let you know with photos ahead.
The Red Sox are back home tonight in Fenway Park so that I can cheer them from GA on my tv Baseball package. Here are some shots in action against the Tampa Bay Rays.
What fun to meet new friends, friends of old friends, visiting the Island from CA! I enjoyed seeing them at a beach condo and they viewed my studio today with Nigel, Sophie and me over coffee. Please visit again!
This afternoon I put on my swimsuit, and went to the pool hoping to have a quick swim...but alas the lightning strikes in the distance (that can move 5 miles in a strike) closed the pool...ALAS
This early Saturday morning Nigel and I went to Gould's Inlet for a short walk before the HEAT envelopes. I wished to record the message written in this upper story empty condo unit...hope for all!
Harold Dale, my Webmaster, kibitsed my website learning...what fun to re-size, highlight, and add photos with the promise that if the product isn't pleasing, one does not need to publish! A new card, "Seaside Serenata", the symphony production outdoors last summer, is now available.
Dr. Howard Berg met Nigel yesterday and gave him a chiropractic adjustment. Nigel needs to lose a few pounds, especially now that he is in full coat. I'm not able to tell what Nigel was saying to Dr. Berg!
Today is the birthday of my special mentor and friend who filled my life for many years with his art, teaching, humor and kindness. His artistic expressions and lessons influenced and gave inspiration to his many students. Zyg was a giant in his expressive art...one still sees through his eyes. Happy Birthday dear Zyg.
This afternoon I had an appointment with my chiropractor, Dr. Berg, whose adjustments allowed my hip pain to disperse. I asked if he treated dogs, and "Yes", so I may take Nigel for an adjustment. Nigel needs to lose a few pounds...with high temperatures it's not easy for him to run on the beach. He is now in full coat as a Tibetan Terrior rather than having a puppy hair cut...longer hair is supposed to protect from the heat. I'll advise the followup.
Today Nigel and I went for an early morning walk at Gould's Inlet here on the Island. There were only a few other walkers and fishermen. The sand near the water was moist but Nigel sniffed around the higher sands before another doggy came for the morning walk. Then he came to the shoreline for a visit. We left at 8:30 AM as the air was getting toasty. Currently the days temps are upwards of 88 and one needs to head out before that time.

This afternoon I was pleased to have an hour watercolor workshop at the new Glynn Art Association building. Ten students painted sunflowers with me. It was fun to have new and old friends using their brushes in capturing their versions of the sunflowers into watercolor paint.
